More Information about Patient Progress Manager

Patient Progress Manager continuously monitors and compares patients expected clinical progress to their actual progress, moment by moment, from admission to discharge. This allows care teams to set evidence-based departure dates, optimizing the length of stay in each unit to ensure adequate reimbursement for high quality care.

You must belong to a security group with full access to the Patient Pattern Configuration permission in order to configure Patient Progress Manager.

You should follow these steps to configure Patient Progress Manager for your organization, but not all organizations need to complete all steps. For example, if your organization is using DRG-based patterns, you should not configure ICD Codes, diagnoses, or admit reasons.
