Understanding the Send Caregiver Message Window

If your organization is using Assignment Manager with CareAware iBus with Device Services integration, you are able to assign your staff communication devices and send messages from the Department Assign page or Patient Assign page.

When you have assigned devices to staff, you can also send messages to one caregiver or several caregivers at once. You can also view previous messages on the Send Caregiver Message window.

The Send Caregiver Message window has three sections:

Select Caregivers: This pane contains the caregivers who can receive your message.
Enter Message: This where you enter your message.

How the Send Caregiver Message window displays caregivers' names depends on your Caregiver Identifiers configuration. See Configuring Facility Settings: The Patient and Caregiver Identifiers Tab for more information.
